Patikawa on Oma: (I believe this is the Guru Jemaat Patikawa whose sons are Kris, Feri, and Tolo, and whose daughter is Mimi, but I failed to record this in my original notes). Ama Na Rima (Five Cities) is supposed to be the place where several villages on Leihitu originated. Ask about it at Oma. Ask about the salt pit in the hills where the ancestors used to bring sea water in timbils and dump it so that it would evaporate, and they would have salt. The place the ancestors lived then was not Aman Ira. Aman Ira is a later village. There is a peak named Aman Tia Hai (now called Aman Sihai). It is straight up from Batu Malat. It means "Father Went On," or "Father Has Passed Here.", This is because there used to be guards at Malat Point. A man once asked the guards, "Where are they?", A guard answered, "Aman tia hai," meaning, "They have passed ahead." (I believe Patikawa's translation may be in error here, because Buru would corroborate "sia," and not "tia," as pronoun. In Buru it means "a few.") Ririasa is a famous kapitan of Oma.
